As preschoolers play outside, they run, jump, climb, skip, hop, and turn somersaults. From that free play, they grow strong and gain coordination skills that are essential for motor development.

Gross motor skills precede fine motor skills. Upper back strength is necessary to stabilize the arms in order for children to use pencils and crayons. It’s all very important.

Plus rough and tumble outdoor play builds connections in the brain that make higher learning possible when the child is older.  Without these brain “pathways,” the child will struggle.

Instead of confining littles in a classroom or group setting, they need to be active and playful!  Home is the perfect environment to make that possible!
